J.M. Wilson Promotes Cloney to Michigan Transportation Manager

PORTAGE, MI, MARCH 2023 - J.M. Wilson is pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Cloney, TRS to Michigan Transportation Manager.  Ryan is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Non-Fleet Transportation team and developing relationships that foster growth with carriers and new and existing independent insurance agents in Michigan and Minnesota.

Ryan joined JM Wilson in 2012 as a Fleet Underwriting Technician, later receiving promotions to Transportation Underwriter, and Senior Transportation Underwriter, before his latest promotion to Michigan Transportation Manager.  Ryan holds an A.A.S. in Business Administration from Kalamazoo Valley Community College as well as an A.A.S. in Culinary Arts from Kendall College of Culinary Arts.  He also earned his TRS (Transportation Risk Specialist) designation from the MCIEF (Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation) in 2019.
